I read a quote recently in a magazine at a doctors office. It was about creativity and being an artist I liked it. I apologize for not writing down the author, but let me share with you what it made me understand.

Creativity is the ability to use what already exists and rearrange them in a manner never before seen. When unimportant events or things you take for granted are given greater significance, they help the creative impulse. An impulse that needs to be energized out of it’s dullness, to a state that no longer has a lack of interest in its surroundings.

Artist Sophia Sobers is having a lecture about how medicine has played a large role within some of her creations.
