I know you’ve read about this topic many times before. You may be tempted to skip over this one, but don’t! Study this one more time.

In the Bible, the book of Hebrews chapter 11, verse 1 says: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Let us put emphasis on words we may be overlooking.

Substance means: that which has foundation, is firm; hence that which has actual existence.

Evidence means: a proof, that by which a thing is proved or tested.

Not seen means: invisible.

But it does not say we could not hear it, nor touch it, nor taste it, nor smell it. It does not say we could not use our other senses.

Hebrews 11:7 NKJV says: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household…”

Hebrews 11:11 says: “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him (God) faithful who had promised.”

Hebrews 11:23 says: “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.”

Romans 12:3 reminds us that we have all been given the measure of faith by God. So let’s build on it.
